SCALLION HERB CREAM CHEESE SPREAD

Three items I buy each week include fresh parsley, cilantro, and green onions. They’re usually less than $1 each. However, they provide tons of flavor and color for my meals, so they’re worth the purchase even if I cannot use them all. I still enjoy coming to recipes that use the leftovers, such as the Scallion Herb Cream Cheese Spread, since there’s less food waste, and it’s the best. Better. This herb-infused, tangy cream cheese takes just a few minutes to prepare, yet it is truly delicious as well. It might even encourage you to eat more vegetables during your day.

EAT YOUR VEGETABLES AND ENJOY THEM TOO.

How can this aid you in eating more vegetables? It’s a Scallion Cream Cheese spread that is almost like cream cheese with a ranch flavor and is perfect for spreading on vegetables in lunches and wraps and placing on celery sticks and cucumber pieces. I’m considering making the ideal vegetable sandwich: This Scallion Herb Cheese cheese cucumber, avocado alfalfa sprouts, and tomato.

SERVING SIZES

I’ve decided to set the serving size of this recipe at 1 ounce or approximately two tablespoons, as it’s the standard serving size for cream cheese. I’m aware that it’s hard to limit yourself to 2 Tbsp. So consider it a grain of salt. K? Thx.

SUBSTITUTIONS

Not into cilantro? That’s okay. You can leave it out, and it’ll still be fantastic; there’s no reason to replace it with something else. Do you have an herb garden? Consider adding tarragon or perhaps basil.
